How Often Should You Wash Your Hair??

Sometimes figuring out how often you should wash your hair can be challenging; everybody’s hair is different, so it makes it difficult choosing whether you should wash your hair more or less frequently depends on your hair type. So here are a few ways to see whether you are washing your hair too much or too little.

If you have an oily scalp, washing your hair every other day or more frequently can give your hair, especially fine hair, more volume and shine, rather than it looking dull and flat. It would be best if you use less heat devices as your hair can become more weak and damaged. But, if you do use heat products, you can use sprays and treatments that reduce or prevent heat damage.

If your hair is thick, long and curly, washing your hair less frequently is more suitable because your hair takes longer to dry and absorb moisture.  Drying your hair with a hair dryer may not be the best choice as it damages your hair. Your hair can become more voluminous for people with thicker and curlier hair because you get more moisture after a few days. This can benefit your hair more as your hair becomes more used to your routine.

 Washing your hair as frequent or less as is suitable and keeping the same routine, will help with keeping your hair healthy and moisturised. Everyone’s hair is different so determining how frequently you should wash your hair is up to you
